Terms of Service

Effective: September 2026. These terms govern the Primwright Book 1 digital storefront and protected online reader.

1. Who this is and what you are buying

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Primwright Book 1 digital storefront and protected online reader, operated by Primwright (“we,” “us”).

What is sold is licensed online access to the digital edition of:

  • Primwright: Foundations — Learner Edition (First Learner Edition, 2026), by Primwright
  • Price: $49 USD, one-time. No subscription; no recurring charge; nothing auto-renews.

This is digital access, not a file download. You read the book in a protected web reader in your browser. No physical goods are sold or shipped.

2. Your account

  • You must create an account and verify your email address to read the licensed book (the Session 1A free preview requires no account — see Section 4).
  • Keep your sign-in credentials private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • One license is tied to one purchasing account. Accounts and licenses are non-transferable.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, bulk-copy, or systematically extract the book’s content;
  • Share your account credentials or otherwise let others use your license;
  • Attempt to circumvent the reader’s access controls (entitlement checks, signed/expiring content delivery, session controls);
  • Misuse the free preview or the support channel.

Violations are reviewed manually — there is no automated punishment. We may warn you, reset sessions, suspend access, or terminate the license. Terminations are handled under Section 10.

4. Session 1A free preview

Session 1A — the book’s first session — is offered as a free browser preview. The free preview requires no purchase and no account. The preview content is explicitly separated and allowlisted from the paid edition; the free preview does not provide access to the paid content and never bypasses the paid-content entitlement checks.

5. Pricing, taxes, and payment

These terms apply when the store launches; the store is not yet open for purchases.

  • The price is $49 USD, one-time digital access.
  • Payment is processed by Paddle (Paddle.com, Inc.), which acts as the merchant of record: Paddle processes your payment, collects and remits applicable sales tax/VAT, and holds your payment credentials. We do not collect or store your card or payment credentials.
  • The checkout shows the full price, all taxes and fees, and exactly what the license includes before you pay.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by the Digital License & Access Terms: a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase, subject to concise reasonable anti-abuse terms. Refunds are processed by Paddle, which is authoritative for all financial refund state. When Paddle authoritatively confirms a full refund of your Book 1 purchase, your license access is revoked. To request a refund, contact support at support@primwright.com within the 14-day window.

7. Intellectual property

The book’s text, structure, artwork, and all related content are the intellectual property of Primwright:

When the store launches, your purchase gives you a limited, non-transferable license to access the digital edition through the protected reader (see the Digital License & Access Terms). It does not transfer ownership of any copyright, trademark, or other right.

8. Content and educational use

Disclaimer. This book is provided for educational and informational purposes. AI technologies, products, interfaces, features, pricing, policies, and capabilities can change after publication. Readers should independently verify important or consequential AI-generated information and outputs. References to third-party products, companies, services, and trademarks do not imply affiliation or endorsement. All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Free content corrections may be published as dated updates to the digital edition for the life of the edition; updates do not create additional charges.

9. Service availability

We provide the storefront and reader with reasonable care but make no uptime or service-level guarantees. Internet access and a modern browser are required; offline reading is not offered at launch. We may update, maintain, or modify the platform, with reasonable notice where practical.

10. Termination

  • You may stop using the service at any time; deleting your account ends your license (see the Privacy Policy for how your data is handled).
  • We may suspend or terminate access for license violations, fraud, or abuse, per Section 3. Refund eligibility on termination is determined by the refund policy in the Digital License & Access Terms.

11. Liability

The book and the platform are provided on an “as is” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the book or the service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted on the storefront with an effective date. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. For purchased licenses, the Terms in force at the time of purchase continue to apply to that purchase’s core license terms unless you agree otherwise.

13. Governing law and disputes

To be determined — governing law and dispute venue will be chosen with legal counsel.
